Privacy Policy

This policy covers Back Wall Games and everything at this site, including the companion app your guests use during a party.

What we collect

From people who buy something:

• Name and email address
• Delivery address, only when something physical is being shipped
• Order history and any codes you have redeemed

Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers. We see the last four digits and the outcome, nothing else.

From guests who join a party:

• The display name they type
• The character they claim and what they write in their own notebook

Guests do not make accounts and are not asked for an email address. A guest’s private notes are visible only on that guest’s own device.

What we do with it

• Fulfil orders and give you access to what you bought
• Run the party you started
• Answer you when you contact support
• Send one message when a new title is released, if you have an account

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Who else touches it

• Stripe, for payments
• Vercel, for hosting
• Neon, for the database
• Resend, for transactional email

Each of these processes data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@backwallgames.com and we will deal with it within 45 days.

We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, we treat that as an opt-out of sale and sharing automatically, and you do not need to tell us separately.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years because tax rules require it. Party data is kept while your account exists so you can look back at a night you ran. Close your account and it goes.

Children

These games are written for adults and the site is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
